You can object to processing based on legitimate interest (see “Your rights”). We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4Who data may be shared with

  • IT service providers processing data on our behalf: hosting, communication and notifications, work and analytics tools;
  • professional advisers (accountants, lawyers) where needed;
  • public authorities where required by law.

5Processing in other countries

The controller is based in Ukraine. Our providers may also process data in other countries, including outside the EU/EEA and in countries not covered by a European Commission adequacy decision.

For such transfers we use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where they are available, or rely on the transfer being necessary for steps taken at your request before entering into a contract or for performing it (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR; Art. 29 of the Law). You can request a copy of the safeguards applied at contact@nemida.eu.

6How long we keep data

Request data and correspondence — 3 years from your last contact with us. Longer where required by law (including contract data) or where the data is needed to protect rights in a dispute. Technical data — as long as needed for the security and operation of the site. Visit statistics — 13 months.

7Cookies

The site uses technical cookies and browser storage entries needed for it to work (for example, language and colour theme). They do not require consent (Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC). We keep visit statistics ourselves, without cookies and without writing anything to your browser: the server counts visits by an anonymised identifier that changes every day and does not store the IP address, so you cannot be recognised beyond a single day. If analytics or other non-essential cookies are introduced, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.

8Your rights

You have the right to:

  • find out whether we process your data and get a copy;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • receive the data you provided in a machine-readable format or have it sent to another controller;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on it; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To use a right, write to contact@nemida.eu.

You can also complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (ombudsman.gov.ua) or to the supervisory authority of the EU/EEA country where you live, work or where the violation took place (list of authorities: edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en).

9Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. A new version applies from the date shown at the top of the page. The policy is available in Ukrainian, English and Russian; in case of discrepancies, the Ukrainian version prevails.
